This is a very special artist edition LP from our friend Marefumi Komura. Lavishly packaged with poster / postcard art inserts and a book with essays and artwork produced at the same time as the recordings. The recordings were made while Marefumi was still in high school and had had his head opened up by a chance hearing of White Noise's classic 1969 LP An Electric Storm. "Even now I remember being puzzled and even a bit alarmed by the weirdness of it all. From that moment on, I began to take an active interest in listening to strange sounds and weird songs. It seemed to expand the horizons of my imagination." Marefumi's experiments yield a delicious stew of raw no wave beats and fuzzy keyboard electronics with aptly titled songs such as 'Danger Drama', 'Zombies" and "Delicious Art". This is a unique and beautiful addition to Marefumi's growing renown as a working visual artist in Tokyo, Japan.
This LP is a numbered edition of 100 and signed by the artist. Included with the purchase of this LP/Art Object is a Komura Pencil Set and a Marefumi Komura Mix Tape #1 recorded in may 2008.
